ABOUT US

The Blayney Show is managed and run by the Blayney Agricultural and Pastoral Association Inc., Committee members, stewards and local volunteers, who work very hard to stage the Annual Show.

Since our founding in 1878, Blayney Agricultural Show has been a standout, traditional agricultural show in country NSW. In 2018 the Blayney Show celebrated it's 140th Annual Show, making it one of the oldest ongoing agricultural shows in NSW.

​

Our goals are many, however, they include:

• Encourage our community and the general public to connect with and learn about agricultural, pastoral and horticultural food and fibre production.

• Ensure our visitors have a memorable experience by having a fun-filled day out and experience our renowned hospitality.

• Educate young people through the livestock, plant and food and fibre  competitions and exhibitions held at our Show, with the opportunity for finalists to attend Zone and State competition finals 

• Promote the involvement of youth in shows by holding competitions for young people and encouraging them to participate in our Show Society and Agricultural Youth Groups.

• Promote and protect the pastoral, agricultural horticultural and industrial resources of our local area through promotion and protection

The Blayney Agricultural and Pastoral Association Inc. is an affiliate member of The Agricultural Societies Council of NSW Ltd  (ASC), being an ASC Group 11 Western division show.
